Midtown fire victims receive help from the American Red Cross

St. Louis (KSDK) - Midtown fire victims can get assistance from the American Red Cross St. Louis Area Chapter.

The Red Cross is providing emergency assistance for food, clothing and shelter needs.

Case workers will meet with displaced Midtown fire victims at the Blood Services buildings at 4050 Lindell.  The meetings will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday.

Residents who cannot make it to the offices, can call 314-516-2800 for further assistance.

EdR, the company that manages the building, is also providing updates for victims.

The Midtown fire burned an apartment building at Lindell and Vandeventer Tuesday night.  Firefighters helped rescue nearly 100 people.
