ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KSDK) -- Thousands of cyclists rode through the streets of downtown St. Louis Saturday night for the 50th Annual Moonlight Ramble.
The Ramble is billed as the "World's Original Nighttime Bike Ride" and starts at midnight each year near the full moon in August.
The event includes a leisurely bike ride through the streets of St. Louis, a vendor area, and an after-ride party with snacks and drinks.
Proceeds from the Ramble support HI-USA, an American affiliate of the Hostelling International network, and Kingdom House, an organization that helps those in need become self-sufficient.
