ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - Although the St. Louis Rams have finished its game for the week, there's still football to be had in the area this weekend.
The 2013 Saint Louis Gateway Classic kicks off this weekend with Tennessee State University facing Central State University, Saturday at 2 p.m. Edward Jones.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the St. Louis Gateway Classic Scholarship Foundation's big weekend.
Although the game doesn't kick off until Saturday, events ramp up Friday near the Edward Jones Dome with a fish fry and street fest, starting at noon, and a pep rally at 5 p.m.

The weekend of events is as follows:
- Fish Fry and Street Fest, noon-5 p.m.
Mingle early with all of those in town for the game over a plate of fried catfish and more.
- Pep Rally, 5-7 p.m.
Represent your team as fans get pumped up for Saturday's TSU versus CSU game.
- The Gateway Classic Honors, 6-10 p.m., Millennium Hotel
Sweetie Pie's owner Robbie Montgomery and others are honored in this tribute to area legends.
- Pepsi Gateway Classic Parade, 10 a.m., MLK to Washington Avenue to Broadway
Watch bands, drill teams and other students and group hit the streets for this proud tradition of the Gateway Classic.
- Day Party in the Dome, Noon, Edward Jones Dome
Start the party early with a two-level party in the dome for game ticket holders.
- Gateway Classic game, 2 p.m.
