If ever there was a child with a big heart, it's Phillip.  His kindness is only surpassed by his empathy and concern for others. Phillip has a great, playful sense of humor and a polite demeanor.  He has a pleasant and easy-going personality.

Phillip enjoys books, especially about animals.  He is fascinated by unusual facts about animals and is eager to share this love and knowledge with others.  When it comes to animals, Phillips favorite is a dog, hands-down.  He is gentle and kind with the family dog in his foster home.  Phillip rides a therapeutic horse weekly and it is something that he truly enjoys - and is benefiting from!  Like most boys his age, Phillip enjoys video games.  He also likes jumping on the trampoline, playing with legos and cars, and coloring.  Phillip is really passionate about art.  He's always using pencils and charcoal to sketch.  Drawing helps Phillip express himself and it's something he really loves to do.  Phillip likes school, especially math.  He has an Individualized Educational Program in place and is currently in a self-contained special education classroom.  Phillip receives speech and language therapy in school. His language is easily understood, but immature for his age.   When asked to describe himself, Phillip says, "I'm handsome, I'm nice, and I can draw!"

Phillip thrives on one-on-one attention. He has waited a long time for a his forever family to find him and deserves a loving family that is patient and understanding. Like many children, Phillip needs structure and consistency.

This 15-year-old also has a little wish. He would like a new art kit.

If you would like more information about adopting Phillip or granting his little wish, please call the Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition at 1-800-FOSTER3.

A special thank you to Therapeutic Horsemanship.  If you would like information about their riding classes or summer camps, please call 636-332-4940.
