Very Special Arts is spotlighting 10 artists around Missouri in it's latest anthology. Some of the artists have overcome their disabilities and others are using theirs to inspire them as artists. The exhibition, "Where We Can Read the Wind," has traveled around the state and it's last stop is at the Regional Arts Commission in St. Louis.
"One of the things that we do is provide opportunities for artists living in the state of Missouri with disabilities, opportunities to participate in artistic endeavors like individuals without disabilities," explained Gina Alvarez, VSA.
The exhibit is free and open to the public for viewing through March 9 at The Regional Arts Commission located at 6128 Delmar Blvd. For more information about "Where We Can Read the Wind" and Very Special Arts head to www.vsamissouri.org
