Schlafly's largest food and beer festival kicks off Friday night. The Stout and Oyster festival wouldn't be complete without the 30,000 oysters Schlafly gets flown in for the event.
Diz and Viki Schimke ship around 9,000 oysters from their farm in Washington. They plan to shuck all weekend.
"I competed and won the women's title, he won the men's title. We shucked against each other to determine who was going to represent the U.S. and he won," said Viki.
"They're some of the best in the West," explained Diz.
Schlafly will prepare the oysters almost any way you want. And they'll help pair stout with your choice.
