The owner of Green Bean built her restaurant around the idea you come in and enjoy your meal and leave feeling good about what you ate. The idea comes from an entrepreneur who hasn't even graduated college yet.
"When I started at Wash U as a freshman I noticed quickly that there weren't really many healthy options around the area and I'm from the East Coast where there are tons of healthy places especially even salad places," said Sarah Haselkorn, Green Bean, Co-Founder.
By the time Haselkorn was a junior she satisfied her craving by opening her own healthy restaurant.
"Green Bean is a fast casual sustainable salad and wrap restaurant," explained the young entrepreneur.
Haselkorn will graduate in the spring and she still isn't sure what her future entails, but she would like to expand Green Bean. The restaurant is located at 232 N. Euclid Avenue in the Central West End. For more information go to www.greenbeansalads.com
