Mother's Day is the busiest day of the year at Bellefontaine Cemetery as women celebrate the lives of generations of St. Louis ladies.
"So many famous people I mean people who changed the world," said Carol Shepley, Historian.
The 314 acres are filled with recognizable names like Lillie Busch, Edna Gellhorm and Virginia Minor.
If you're interested in bringing your mom to Bellefontaine Cemetery this weekend it's free as always. You can pick up a self guided map. For information about guided tours you can call 314 381-0750 or visit www.bellefontainecemetery.org.
