It's all hands on deck as a festival known for tradition and culture prepares to feed the masses over Memorial Day Weekend. The Assumption Greek Orthodox Church has been getting ready for the St. Louis County Greek Fest for eight months. They'll serve around 25,000 traditional meals over the four day weekend.

"What we try to do is share with the community exactly what the Greek heritage is all about," explained Toney Tharenos, Assumption Greek Orthodox Church.

Festival organizers say they'll take you to Greece minus the airfare. You can tour the basilica, experience traditional music and dance and taste homemade dishes. There will also be a Kids Corner for the little ones.

The St. Louis County Greek Fest is Friday-Monday from 11am-9pm at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church at 1755 Des Peres Road in Town and Country. It's free to attend and food prices vary depending on what you order. For more information visit
