St. Louis (KSDK) -- Ballpark Village is one step closer to becoming a reality.

The St. Louis Board of Aldermen approved $17-million in incentives for the entertainment and dining project during a 25-2 vote Friday morning.

The final vote will be conducted next week.

The incentive package will then head to the Missouri Development Finance Board for final approval.
