(CNN) - The last refuge from constant internet connectivity may be catching up.

More airlines than ever are now providing Wi-Fi on their flights, thanks to one of the self-proclaimed fastest growing companies in America.

Gogo has installed Wi-Fi systems on several airlines, and is now on 1,600 commercial aviation jets.

The company charges customers for internet usage, up to $20, depending on the flight.

The only drawback with Gogo's system is that it isn't available when flying over the water, so it's only limited to domestic flights. But that may not be a problem.

The California-based company Row 44 also installs Wi-Fi on planes, but it relies on a satellite system, so passengers can access the internet even when flying over the ocean.

The downside is it's substantially more expensive.
