  • ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KSDK) - For a lot of people, Tuesday is the first they're seeing of the payroll tax increase.

    You're now paying more in Social Security tax. If you're making $50,000 a year, your paycheck will shrink by about $83 a month.

    That cut in take home pay has left many looking for ways to cut back.

    We know some of you might not have been paid just yet, or you might have things like overtime to consider in your paychecks, so we did some searching and found a useful page for calculating your new take home pay.

    PaycheckManager.com allows you to compare your 2012 and 2013 pay.  You'll need a pay stub from last year and this one in order to input the correct data.
