ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - The top leader of FOCUS St. Louis has stepped down from her position after more than 15 years.
Christine Chadwick announced that she will leave her executive director position, effective June 30, 2014. She has been the leader of the organization since 1996, following a merger of the Leadership Center of St. Louis and Confluence St. Louis.
During her time at FOCUS, Chadwick touched more than 4,000 lives, ranging from high school students to senior executives, through the organization's leadership training. She also served as the lead of Leadership St. Louis and Experience St. Louis programs.
Chadwick said she has no plans following her retirement but said that she would remain active in the community as a volunteer and consultant.
