St. Louis (KSDK) -- Hundreds of people turned out to tuck and roll on Art Hill in Forest Park. But the attempt to set a new somersault world record fell short.
Andrew Tessier, of Des Peres, and his Barrell Roll Man organization hoped more than 835 people come out to Forest Park and do a somersault down the hill in an attempt to set a world record.
The attempt fell about 100 people short, but it did raise more than $3,000 dollars for the Nurses for Newborns Foundation. The group provides services to babies born with medical problems or born to mothers who are poor or have mental health issues.
