St. Louis (KSDK) - The FBI is asking for help from the public identifying a man that may have information about the sexual exploitation of a child.

The FBI released four photos on Monday of the man and objects surrounding him, hoping someone will recognize the man or the city in which the photographs may have been taken.

According to the FBI, they first became aware of the man in November 2005 after photos appeared online of a female around the age of 10 posing nude in sexually explicit positions.

The unidentified man can be seen near the child in the photos and is watching her.

One of the photos shows a child's cup from QuikTrip. The FBI believes the photos were taken before November 2005 in one of 13 cities, one of which is St. Louis.

One of the photos shows a baseball cap with a logo that may be a local sports team, and a partial image of a telephone book.

The man is described as Caucasian, between the ages of 55 and 65-years-old with brown eyes. At the time the photos were taken he had gray hair, a full beard, and mustache.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the man should contact their local FBI office, submit a tip online at https://tips.fbi.gov, or call the toll-free tip line at 1-800-CALL-FBI.
