ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - A shooting victim got out of his car and flagged down police officers at the Grand Boulevard MetroLink Station Wednesday afternoon.

Police say one man shot another man over a woman at Pope and West Florissant. The bullet holes were visible in the windshield of the four-door, maroon sedan parked outside the drop-off lanes along Grand, south of Interstate 64.

Police say the victim was shot behind the wheel and proceeded to try to drive himself to the emergency room. Police say he was attempting to drive to St. Louis University Hospital, which is located just south of the Metro station.

The man got to the MetroLink station and flagged down a police officer he saw in the area.

The victim was then transported with non-life threatening wounds.
