St. Louis (KSDK) - Fairview Heights police have charged two men believed to be involved in a home invasion in St. Louis.

Authorities say two men broke into a Peachtree Lane apartment around 3:30 am on Sunday, February 3. The suspects entered through the back door armed with a gun. A 19-year-old male living there was held at gun point.

The victim tried grabbing the gun while the two suspects punched him repeatedly before fleeing out the back door. Family members took the victim to the hospital, and he was released with minor injuries.

The victim told officers with the Fairview Heights Police Department that he thought he recognized one of the suspects.

Bryton J. Wilson, 19, of Belleville and Roshie D. Truss, 20, of Fairview Heights, have each been charged with felony home invasion.

Bond was set at $250,000 for each suspect, and they are presently in custody at the St. Clair County Jail.
