ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - If you're spending hours posting your resume on line and waiting for a response, stop it. You'll have better luck playing the lottery. Job coach Frank Danzo says over 85 percent of jobs are filled through networking.

"It's who you know and who knows you," Frank said. "The good news is I'm 100 percent convinced you can get to anyone in this city you want to."

Danzo is an employment instructor for Bounceback St. Louis. The group offers free, all day "Nitty Gritty Workshops" to help people crack the job market.

If you want to know why TMI (too much information) in a job interview will kill your chances, how to answer hiring managers' question about your biggest weakness, or how to sell your strengths without sounding like a blowhard braggart, check out the Bounceback St. Louis workshops.

Danzo asks that people register for the event Thursday. They can email stlbounceback@gmail.com to do so or call 314-504-2799.
