ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (AP) - Platte County authorities say the body of a St. Joseph woman was put inside a homemade box surrounded by clothing before it was dumped in a dry creek bed.

The body of 35-year-old Tangela Fisher was found last Friday north of Weston. The sheriff's office released details of the box and clothes on Tuesday in an effort to bring in tips in the case.

Sheriff's spokesman Sgt. Jerin Almond said box was made of materials such as house siding, plywood and part of a Foosball table.

The St. Joseph News-Press reports the men's and women's clothing included a black shirt with the writing AEGIS BALLISTIC MISSILE DEFENSE and a Trojan riding a horse. It also included jeans and a hounds-tooth ball cap. All the clothing was of different sizes.
