St. Louis (KSDK) - Two Missouri women were convicted Monday of federal conspiracy charges, and a murder-for-hire plot.
Elain Kay Young, 57, from Novinger, Missouri; and Katherine A. Mock, 58, of Cassville, Missouri, were each convicted of conspiracy to commit murder for hire and one felony count of murder for hire.
Court documents state Young and Mock planned and caused the murder of Young's husband, Melvin B. Griesbauer on March 23, 2006. The murder was executed so Young could collect insurance money.
Both Young and Mock face life in prison.
The date of their sentencing has not been released.
