Boston, MA (WCVB/CNN) - Police are investigating nine Boston University students in connection with an alleged hazing incident.

All of the students are members of the Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity, which is not recognized on campus.

Police say officers came to this house early Monday morning in response to a noise complaint.

They found five men duct-taped in the basement, stripped down to their underwear, covered with red welts, and doused in honey, hot sauce and other foods.

University officials say if an investigation reveals the nine students accused violated conduct codes they could face punishment.
