Fond du Lac County, WI (WLUK/CNN) - A Wisconsin man is accused of plowing down ten motorcyclists, killing one of them.
Police say 25-year-old Clinton Lovelace crossed a highway's center line last week and hit a group of bikers.
Ten out of the group of twelve motorcyclists were hit, eight were hurt, and one died at the scene.
Lovelace faces numerous charges in the fatal crash, including second-degree reckless homicide.
The district attorney says they are working to determine if he was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
"We are looking to see what substances were on him. What will be found in his blood because of his obvious impairment noted at the scene," said
Investigators say Lovelace told them he was using prescription drugs at the time but doesn't remember if he took them the morning of the crash.
If convicted on all charges, he faces more than 78 years in prison.
