East St. Louis, IL (KSDK) - A Granite City man was sentenced Monday for distribution and possession of child pornography.

Mikhail E. Reinhardt, 23, was sentenced to 200 months in prison on the distribution charge, and 120 months in prison for the possession charge. The sentences will run concurrently. He was also ordered to serve 10 years of supervised release, fined $150 on each count, will pay a $200 special assessment and will forfeit the computers used to commit the offenses.

Court documents state on June 15, 2009 an officer conducting an undercover investigation identified Reinhardt's computer as one offering the distribution of child pornography. The officer obtained three photos and three videos that all showed child pornography.

When officers investigated the incident they were led to the home Reinhardt lived in with his parents.

On August 13, 2009 officers executed a search warrant on Reinhardt's home.

A desktop computer and a laptop were seized, and a forensic review of the desktop computer revealed over 1,000 photos and video files containing child pornography.

A review of the laptop found 11 photos and videos of child pornography.

Reinhardt admitted to officers he had been interested in child pornography for about two years and estimated he had between 800 and 900 child pornography files.
