St. Louis (KSDK) - A local man has pleaded guilty to selling counterfeit goods at his store.

Same Ndiaye, 50, pleaded guilty to selling the goods at Sasooum Sport Fashions.

Counterfeit items seized from his store exceeded $900,000 in retail value if they had been authentic. The merchandise was priced at a deep discount from the suggested retail price, and was valued at $300,000.

Court documents state Ndiaye received numerous warnings for several years from various designers that his merchandise was counterfeit.

On February 15, 2012 a federal search warrant was executed and nearly every single item in the store was counterfeit.

A large number of counterfeit goods were also found inside Ndiaye's residence.

Nidaye pleaded guilty to one felony count of trafficking counterfeit goods.

He's scheduled to be sentenced October 3, 2012.
