Franklin County, MO (KSDK) - Charges have been filed against a man from Washington, Missouri after a pharmacy was robbed earlier this week.
Matthew J. Florence, 24, has been charged with first-degree pharmacy robbery and theft, and stealing a controlled substance.
Hall's Pharmacy in Krakow was robbed around 1:45 p.m. Tuesday.
Florence was taken into custody Thursday afternoon after an anonymous tip led detectives to his apartment. He later confessed to the robbery.
Authorities say about half of the drugs have been recovered.
Police say Florence told them after the robbery he went to a home on Country Club Lane, which is near the pharmacy. He says he did not have a weapon during the robbery.
Florence is held at the Franklin County Jail on a $150,000 cash-only bond.
