St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - The St. Louis Circuit Grand Jury has formally indicted the man police have sought for nearly two months after he was identified as the culprit of a street robbery and sexual fondling of three teenage girls in north St. Louis.
The indictment accuses 32 year old Donrico Holmes of two counts of robbery, two counts of attempted robbery, assault, three counts of sexual abuse, and eight different counts of armed criminal action for crimes police say he committed on July 23, 2012.
Police responded to the victims identified as three young girls ages 12, 15, and 17 after they encountered Holmes in the 4400 block of Elmbank while the girls were walking home.
The girls told investigators Holmes held them at gunpoint, robbed them of their personal property including cell phones, then forced the victims to undress while he fondled them.
An intense search for Holmes wherabouts was started after he was identified as the person involved, but he has eluded police since an arrest warrant was first issued on August 2nd.
