Timothy Rogers charged in bowling alley shooting

Florissant, MO (KSDK) - The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office charged a 45-year-old Florissant man in connection with a shooting at a local bowling alley Sunday evening.

According to Officer Andy Haarmann, spokesman for the Florissant Police Department, the shooting occurred around 7:10 p.m. at Olympic Lanes in the 12700 block of New Halls Ferry Road.

Officers arriving at the scene found the 36-year-old victim in the parking lot with a gunshot wound to the neck. He was rushed to a local hospital where he's listed in stable condition.

Haarmann said an hour after the shooting, Timothy Rogers turned himself in at the Florissant Police Department.

Rogers was charged with first-degree assault and armed criminal action. He's been transferred to the St. Louis County Jail on $50,000 bond.
