EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. (AP) - The second of two former tellers who admitted stealing thousands of dollars from their bank has been sentenced to probation and ordered to repay the stolen money.
The Telegraph reports that 29-year-old Jamie Gajewski pleaded guilty Tuesday in Madison County to a felony theft count and was sentenced to three years of probation.
She also must repay the nearly $90,000 authorities say she stole from First National Bank of Staunton between January 2011 and January 2012.
Another ex-teller, 51-year-old Lori Surgant, pleaded guilty in July to a theft charge. She's been sentenced to probation and ordered to repay more than $7,000.
