Subway restaurant employee robbed at gunpoint

St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - Police in St. Louis are looking for the armed robber who held up an employee of a Subway restaurant.

Investigators say the crime occurred around 9:20 Saturday night at the fast food restaurant in the 2200 block of South Grand.  The suspect is described as a black male with a medium compexion, in his mid twenties, wearing a blue hat and a blue jacket.

The victim told investigators the bandit also pointed a gun at him during the crime before yelling at him to open the cash register.  The suspect removed money from the cash register and walked out of the store. The robbery victim was not hurt.
