ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - A standoff in St. Louis ended peacefully Friday night in north St. Louis.
Michael Sack, Commander of Crimes Against Persons and Property says homicide investigators investigating a fatal carjacking that occurred Thursday night were led to a suspect living in the 4800 block of N. 20th Street.
When officers arrived at the suspect's home around 6:30 p.m. Friday, they learned the suspect was inside the home with over 12 people, including children.
Officers staged the area and called in the SWAT team and negotiators.
Everyone made it out of the home safely.
Sack says the home will be searched for evidence linking the suspect to the murder.
All people inside the home were questioned.
No charges have been filed.
