Police searching for person who robbed St. John's Bank

ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KSDK) - Police are looking for a person who robbed a St. Louis County bank.

Authorities say the robbery happened at the St. John's Bank located in the 9200 block of Natural Bridge Road around 3 p.m. Friday.

A handgun was displayed during the robbery. No one was injured.

The suspect is described as black, but the gender could not be determined. The suspect stands 5'11" tall and has a slim build and was last seen wearing a grey cowl-neck hood scarf over the head, a black jacket, black track pants with white stripes down the side and carrying a purse.

After the robbery, police say the suspect ran off into the woods behind the bank, which leads to an apartment complex.
