Armed robbery suspects sought after taking cell phones, $2 cash

ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - Police are looking for a man and a woman who fired two shots at three people while robbing them of two cell phones and $2 in cash.

Police say a 23-year-old man and two 16-year-old males were followed for nearly two blocks before the suspects announced a robbery in the 3600 block of Blaine just before 5:30 a.m. Friday. The man then fired one shot, but did not strike any of the victims.

The victims were told to surrender their property and to get on the ground.

Two cell phones and $2 in cash were taken from the victims before the man fired a second shot.

The suspects then ran back to their older model black vehicle and left the area.

No one was injured.

The first suspect is described as a black male standing 5'9" tall with a medium build, medium complexion and dreadlocks. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, red hoodie, and blue jeans.

The second suspect is described as a black female standing 5'4" tall with a light complexion. She was last seen wearing a grey hoodie and blue jeans.

Anyone with information regarding the crime or the suspects is urged to contact police.
