ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - Police are searching for suspects who drove a stolen SUV through the front of a convenience store and then robbed the business.

Around 3 a.m. the suspects drove a red Jeep Cherokee that was reported stolen out of St. Louis County through the front of Mo's Mart & Connect, located in the 2400 block of Union.

The suspects then jumped out of the vehicle and began robbing the store. The owner told NewsChannel 5 he was "wiped out," with 40-60 cell phones, mostly iPhone models 4 and 5, dozens of boxes of cigarettes, and $300 cash stolen.

After the robbery the vehicle was spotted by police on Natural Bridge.

The suspects then led police on a chase through Pine Lawn and back into St. Louis before crashing at Maffitt and Goodfellow.

When the vehicle crashed, three to five suspects jumped out with masks on and fled on foot.

Police say they do not have any leads in the case.
