Shots fired at north St. Louis birthday party

ST. LOUIS (KSDK) -- Two teenagers are accused of firing shots at a birthday party in north St. Louis Friday night.

Police say the two teenage boys fired shots into the crowd as people were leaving the Polish Heritage Center in the 1400 block of North 20th Street late Friday.

A man, 46, was shot in the leg.  The victim drove himself to a local hospital. His condition is unknown.

Police officers spotted the two suspects and ran after them, catching them a short time later.  Officers say the teens, ages 15 and 16, had two handguns on them.  The two are now in the custody of Juvenile authorities.
