EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. (KSDK) - A 25-year-old Illinois man has been sentenced for failing to register as a sex offender.
Andrew C. Henley was sentenced to 34 months in prison, five years of supervised release, and ordered to pay a $100 special assessment.
Henley registered as a sex offender in Illinois on July 11, 2011. He then traveled to Michigan, and did not update his sex offender registration in Illinois or register as a sex offender in Michigan. He was apprehended August 23, 2011 in Kalamazoo, Mich. for domestic assault after a fight with his girlfriend.
