SHILOH, Ill. (KSDK) - The St. Clair County State's Attorney's Office charged a 20-year-old Swansea, Illinois man with allegedly engaging in inappropriate sexual contact and sexting with a minor.
According to Detective Jesse Phillips, a spokesman for the Shiloh Police Department, the victim's mother contacted police on August 7 to report the incidents of sexual contact and sexting.
On August 14, Shiloh police arrested the suspect, identified as Kordale Cotton.
Cotton was charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a victim between the ages 13-17. He remains jailed on a $125,000 bond.
