Hillsboro, MO (KSDK) - A Barnhart woman has pleaded guilty this morning to multiple counts of forgery and stealing money from the Antonia School District Parent Teacher Organization.

The 34 year old woman was accused of writing checks to herself from the schools PTO account between January and March 2011 totaling nearly $8000 without authorization or intent to repay the organization.

Investigators say Woods actually changed the mailing address of the account from the Antonia school to her home address in Jefferson County.

Woods will be sentenced for her crimes October 2nd.
