Normandy, Mo (KSDK) -- Normandy school officials spoke Wednesday for the first time since learning the district is losing its accreditation.
The Missouri State Board of Education voted Tuesday to pull the district's accreditation on January 1st.
The district gets two school years to improve and regain accreditation or face state intervention.
The district held a special board meeting Wendesday night.

The district has created a hotline and e-mail address to answer questions from parents. The hotline number is 314-493-0438. Inquiries can also be e-mailed to email@example.com.
District officials will respond to all phone and e-mails within 24-38 hours.
