LITCHFIELD, Ill. (KSDK) - Litchfield, Illinois, teachers are set to vote Tuesday on a new contract that will keep them in the classroom.
The deal was agreed to late Monday night, just 24 hours before teachers were eligible to go on strike.
Few details are available, but we do know it's a two year contract. We don't know yet if it includes pay raises.
The new deal still has to be ratified by the entire union.
