Police investigate threats at a Pulaski County high school.

PULASKI COUNTY, Mo. (KSDK) - A Laquey High School student was taken in to custody after making threats about harming other students using a firearm Wednesday morning.

Police say Laquey School officials took the appropriate action and contacted the Pulaski County Sheriff's Department.

Upon arrival, sheriff's deputies took the student into custody and handed him over to a Pulaski County juvenile officer.

Police say there were no weapons found on school ground and no injuries were reported.

Due to the student's age, no further information is being released. The Pulaski County Sheriff's Department continues to investigate.
