JOLIET, Ill. (AP) -- A suburban Chicago man accused of shooting to death his wife and three children has been indicted on four counts of first-degree murder.
Few details about the case against Christopher Vaughn of Oswego have been released.
And Wednesday's indictment from a Will County grand jury contains no new information on the charges originally filed last month.
Vaughn is charged with killing his wife, Kimberly Vaughn, 32, and their three children -- Abigayle, 12, Cassandra, 11, and Blake, 8.
Authorities found their bodies June 14 in their SUV on a frontage road near Channahon. Christopher Vaughn had superficial gunshot wounds to the leg and arm.
Vaughn is to be arraigned Friday. He is being held without bond in the Will County Jail.
The Vaughns were born and raised in St. Charles County, Mo.
