KSDK –- If you don't have time to stop and get a flu shot, just go to the drive-thru.

As part of this year's flu shot clinics, Jefferson County's health department is holding two "drive through" clinics. The two sessions will be held the same time, from 2:00 pm. To 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 1.

One will be held at the High Ridge Fire Protection District, fire station #1 at 2839 High Ridge Boulevard. The other will be held at the Antonia Fire Protection District Headquarters, fire station #2 located at 6633 Moss Hollow Road in Barnhart.

Anyone wanting a flu shot can attend either clinic. You can stay in your vehicle during the entire process. The cost for a flu shot this year is $30. Payment will be taken by cash or check.

People at high risk for the flu include those over 65, all children aged six to 23 months, and anyone else with chronic medical conditions.
