KSDK -- A former Southern Illinois University Edwardsville student out on bond is back behind bars accused of not telling the truth on a form when he tried to buy a handgun.

Olutosin Oduwole, 23, of Maplewood was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon and is being held at the St. Louis County Jail.

Investigators said Oduwole falsely answered no to a question on a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms form that asked if he was facing any criminal charge that could result in imprisonment for more than a year.

At the time, Oduwole was out on bond awaiting his trial to begin December 8 for accusations that he made a terrorist threat in July 2007. He was accused of writing a note that threatened killings at SIUE that would be similar to the Virginia Tech shootings.

When Oduwole is extradited back to Madison County, Illinois, there will be hearing to see if his bail will be revoked.
