No mail delivery on Veterans Day

KSDK -- Retail services at Post Offices in the St. Louis Metro Area including the postal stores at the Galleria, Crestwood, and South County shopping malls will be closed on Wednesday, November 11 In honor of Veterans Day. Regularly scheduled mail delivery, PO Box and caller services will also be suspended for the holiday.

Customers can use the Automated Postal Center (APC) available at select Post Offices in the St. Louis metro area. The ATM-like kiosk, which accepts debit and credit cards only, can handle 80 percent of the transactions conducted at the retail counter such as buying stamps, mailing a parcel, or shipping an urgent letter or package by Express or Priority Mail. Access to an APC is available 24-hours a-day, seven-days-a-week at the following metro St. Louis locations:

Mail will be delivered as scheduled on Thursday, November 12. St Louis area Post Offices also will resume regularly scheduled retail lobby hours on November 12.
