KSDK - Clouds return today, then rain is back this afternoon, and even the luck of the Irish won't be enough to hold it off for the St. Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday.

Even though we got some sun Thursday and temperatures pushed into the 60s we're still stuck with a huge upper level low pressure system which is stuck...here.

This will mean rain moving into southern Illinois by mid-day and into the metro area by mid to late afternoon.  Overnight storms are possible and more of the same can be expected on Saturday.

The St. Patrick's Day parade in downtown St. Louis looks wet.  Temperatures by mid-day will be in the mid 40s getting only a bit warmer and rain is likely.

Sunday, when we resume Daylight Saving Time. It may sprinkle or shower a bit, but we won't get much precipitation.  It will still be cloudy, though, with highs in the mid to upper 50s.
