KSDK -- WBC/IBF light welterweight champion Devon Alexander will return to his hometown of St. Louis for his next title defense.
Alexander (20-0, 13 KO's) will face former WBA 140-pound champion Andriy Kotelnik of Ukraine on August 7 at the Scottrade Center. Both of Alexander's title belts will be on the line. He is coming off wins over Junior Witter and Juan Urango.
Kotelnik, 32, is the only man to have beaten WBA champion Marcos Maidana, widely regarded as one of the top 140 pounders in the world.
The Alexander-Kotelnik fight is part of a doubleheader that evening. IBF light heavyweight champion Tavoris Cloud (20-0, 18 KO's) defends his crown against seasoned veteran and former champion Glen Johnson (50-13, 34 KO's).
The card also features St. Charles native Ryan Coyne and St. Louis native Cory Spinks.
