Seven arrested in Jefferson County meth lab bust

Jefferson County, Mo. (KSDK) -- A meth lab bust ended with seven people arrested in Jefferson County.

Jefferson County Sheriff Glenn Boyer said that on Thursday, deputies responded to the 12000 block of Big Pine Place in Desoto after someone reported smelling chemicals.  Deputies found a meth lab in a home.

Seven people in the home were arrested.  During the arrest one deputy was hurt during a struggle with one of the suspects.

All seven were taken to jail and booked for attempting to manufacture meth.

Those charged include:

- Stephen Williams, W/M, Age 19, Granite City, Il.
- Jacob Wolverton, W/M, Age 23, Potosi, Mo
- Nancy Williams, W/F, Age 41, Desoto, Mo
- Ashley Hicks, W/F, Age 22, Potosi, Mo
- Charles Cole, W/M, Age 22, Dittmer, Mo
- Frank Dunn, W/M, Age 41, Potosi, Mo
- Devon Cole, W/F, Age 29, Desoto, Mo

All seven are in jail under $100,000 bond.
