Grant a Little Wish Now

Make the holidays brighter for a foster child! Thousands of children have picked out Little Wishes, Including dolls, bikes, mp3 players, or even trips to the Science Center.

There are two easy ways to grant Little Wishes, which range from $35 to $200.

You can join NewsChannel 5 and the Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition on Saturday, December 4th at the Kirkwood Wal-Mart from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and choose from hundreds of Little Wishes. FedEx will be on hand to ship the gifts directly to the children. Or, you can click here anytime before December 21st to grant Little Wishes online; the elves in our office will order the item and have the gift sent to the child in time for the holidays.

Little Wishes make great gifts for your family and friends, too! When you grant a Little Wish in honor of a loved one, we will send you a gift card to wrap up for the holidays, or we can send the card directly to the person you choose to honor.

Make it a family mission, team up with coworkers or friends, or even make a tribute to a favorite loved one... and grant a Little Wish for a foster child this holiday season!

You can also make a difference and grant a foster child's Big Wish of finding a forever family. Below are just three of the hundreds of children looking for A Place to Call Home.

Ten-year-old Knokeia lights up any room. Her smile is just beautiful and contagious. She is a true joy to be around. Her bright, fun personality will leave you smiling the rest of the day.

Anthony is an energetic 12-year-old who is playful and always ready with a smile. Although a busy child, Anthony can keep himself amused playing with action figures, toy cars and drawing. Anthony is creative and has good visual skills. He is currently in fourth grade and is eager to learn and responds well to focused instruction and positive attention.

11-year-old Jason is a happy and affectionate young man who wakes up every morning with a smile.
Jason loves playing educational computer games, going to the movies and building things. He is inquisitive and enjoys learning how things work.
