Waterloo, IL (KSDK) - Attorneys for Chris Coleman finished presenting evidence Monday in the final hearing before his murder trial.
Coleman is accused of strangling his wife, Sheri, and their two sons at their Columbia home in May 2009.
A judge ruled that Joyce Meyer and her son, Daniel, will be deposed by video during the trial. Both will be out of state during the time of the trial, so they will be unable to appear in person.
Chris Coleman had worked at Joyce Meyer Ministries at the time of his family's murder.
The court also heard arguments over linguistic experts, who may be called upon to give testimony during the trial. An expert testified last month that he noticed similarities between e-mails written by Chris Coleman and spray-painted messages on the wall of his home. The judge postponed ruling on the use of the linguistic experts.
The trial is set to begin later this month.
