St. Louis (KSDK) -- The mother of Jacque Waller is not holding out hope that her daughter, a mother of triplets, is still alive.

Ruby Rawson spoke to Dr. Drew Pinsky during his show last week on HLN.  She said Jacque had told family her estranged husband, Clay Waller, has been threatening her for a year.

"I think that was his chance to do what he was going to do, and I think he did it...I said, 'Jacque, this man's been in our family for 18 years, I can't believe what you're telling me,'" said Rawson.  "And she said 'oh yes Mom, I think he'll do it.' And we just didn't know what to think, we were in shock."

Jacque disappeared on June 1.

Clay is in police custody on unrelated charges of theft and harassment. He is not a suspect in Jacque's disappearance, but law enforcement consider him a person of interest.
